Apps for everyday life at home

We make Hollow Grove, a game where kids earn stars for real chores, and Cork, a debit card that enforces the limits you set at checkout.

Our apps

The Hollow Grove title screen: a fox stands in a pixel-art town square under the words "A chore game for families."

For families

Hollow Grove

A pixel-art game that gets kids doing their chores. Kids from about 6 to 14 tick off real chores at home, earn stars, and spend their play time in a valley of their own.

Parents set the chores, rewards and daily play limits behind a PIN. The game has no ads, and kids can't buy anything in it.

  • Status: In a small pilot now, and coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Price: Free during the pilot, then a paid subscription with a free trial.
  • Offer: Once you're invited, the first 50 households to finish setup get Hollow Grove free for as long as it runs.

Join the list on hollowgrove.app, and we'll email you when your account is approved.

For your money

Cork

A debit card that declines purchases over the limits you set. Cork checks each purchase at checkout, before the money leaves your account.

Cork warns you before you hit a limit and helps you set money aside for goals.

  • Status: Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Offer: The first 1,000 people on the waitlist get six months of Cork Pro free.

Cork is made by Hillock LLC, a technology company, not a bank.

About Hillock
